Success celebrated as Wigan Business Community thrives

Champagne corks popped on Friday night at the DW Stadium as the Wigan business community came together to celebrate the successes of the borough’s leading businesses over the past twelve months.

NR Barton were delighted to jointly sponsor the Young Entrepreneur of the Year award with CG Professional.

In a tightly contested contested category the award was won by Kelly Lowe of Next Level Learning Ltd. The company based in Hindley provide trusted, tailored tuition to a variety of students in the borough. It was clear to the judges that over the past five years Kelly has worked hard to build her business from scratch whilst also taking care of her young family.

Kelly was nominated for the award by her husband James and as joint sponsors of the award, Cathy Rogers of NR Barton and Lou Myers of CG Professional were delighted to present Kelly with her trophy.

In total more than 300 guests attended the black tie evening which celebrated the leading lights of the borough’s business community. The event has been running for a number of years now and continues to lead the Wigan awards for celebrating business success.
